Dreamtale es una banda de Power metal procedente de finlandia, fue fundado por Rami Keränen a principios de 1999. Al principio la banda se hizo fama al ser telonero de la banda finlandesa Sinergy, pero su fama empezo cuando lanzaron su segundo demo" Refuge from Reality"
La mayoria de las copias de su segundo demo fueron vendidas en japon, y no paso mucho tiempo antes de que los sellos discograficos se enteraran de esta nueva banda. Dreamtale empezo a recibir ofertas de sellos discograficos de todo el mundo
