Andre Romel Young, más conocido como Dr. Dre, es rapero y uno de los más reconocidos productores musicales estadounidenses. Nació en Compton, Los Angeles, el 18 de febrero de 1965.
Dre es conocido por sus colaboraciones con artistas de la costa oeste, como Snoop Dogg, Tupac Shakur o Warren G, además de por haber formado el grupo pionero del gangsta rap, los míticos N.W.A.. Junto a Suge Knight fundó la exitosa Death Row Records, además de Aftermath Entertainment, un sello distribuido por Interscope Records, esta vez en solitario.
