Biografía:
Donots son una banda de punk rock alemana formada en 1993 en Ibbenbüren.
El nombre de la banda se creo por casualidad: El bajista de la banda, Jan-Dirk Poggemann quería el nombre de la banda como "the pastries donuts"(los donuts), pero escribió el nombre de manera incorrecta por error. Los otros miembros de la banda les gustaba el nombre, porque encontraron su filosofía en el nombre (donots = no hacer nada, como el descanso), por lo que retuvieron el apodo.
