Biografía:
En 1975, fue co-fundadora de la banda irlandesa tradicional De Dannan, y lanzaron su álbum debut Dé Danann en ese mismo año. El grupo obtuvo el reconocimiento internacional y gozan de gran éxito en la década de 1970 en los EE.UU.. Keane fue de gira con la banda y su single "El pie irlandés" fue un gran éxito en Irlanda. En 1977, después de un corto hechizo dos años, Keane Dannan De izquierda a casarse con el músico John Faulkner.
