Jimmy Tamborello es un peculiar artista que forma parte de varios proyectos: The Postal Service junto a Ben Gibbard; James Figurine, Dntel y HeadSet.
Jimmy se describe a si mismo como un persona introvertida, compleja: el mismo reconocio en una entrevista que habia tenido pocas relaciones sentimentales. Pero vuelca todos sus sentimientos en su musica, eso resulta obvio al escuchar sus 2 albumes como Dntel: "Life Is Full Of Possibilities, y el ultimo "Dumb Luck".
