Desperation Band se formó por primera vez en 2001, cuando Nueva Vida de la Iglesia pastor David Perkins sugirió que Jon Egan , Jared Anderson , y Packiam Glenn jugar junto con sus bandas en la Conferencia de desesperación en primer lugar.
