Biografía:
La historia de Death In Vegas empezó cuando un diseñador gráfico llamado Richard Fearless le propuso a Steve Hellier, trabajar juntos. Por aquel entonces Richard ya llevaba un tiempo realizando sus DJ sets en el mítico "Heavenly Social" de Londres. El grupo se llamó "Dead Elvis" en sus inicios, aunque poco después lo cambiaron a Death In Vegas ya que una discográfica reclamó sus derechos a tal nombre.
En 1996 editan sus primeros singles 'Opium Shuffle' y 'Dirt'.
