Biografía:
Nace en Los Angeles, California (Estados Unidos), el 29 de Mayo de 1959.
En la década de los 80 lideró el grupo de rock alternativo "Oingo Boingo" -hoy auténtica banda de culto,-,con el que logró mucho éxito y gracias al cual llegan los primeros contactos con el mundo del cine, pues sus canciones son incluidas en películas como "La mujer explosiva" (El tema "Weird Science") y otras comedias juveniles.Elfman y su grupo aparecen cantando en la película "Regreso a la Escuela".
