Biografía:

La cantante country Crystal Gayle nació Brenda Gail Webb el 9 de enero de 1951 en Paintsville, Kentucky. Es hermana de Loretta Lynn, lo que provocó que su single de debut, “I’ve Cried (The Blues Right Out of My Eyes)”, publicado en 1971, se vendiese como el producto de una "pequeña Loretta". Pero Crystal enseguida decidió desarrollar un estilo propio, y su debut epónimo de 1974 tuvo bastante éxito y la llevó a una carrera en lo alto de las listas de country que duraría hasta el año 1986, año en que Gayle cayó en picado.
