The Dead Boys fue una banda de punk rock Estadounidense de la generación del 77 liderada por Stiv Bators.
-FORMACION DEL GRUPO
El guitarrista Cheetah Chrome, y batería Johnny Blitz -junto a quienes posteriormente formarían Pere Ubu, David Thomas y Peter Laughnerl- formaban parte de la banda protopunk Rocket From The Thombs. El grupo resultó demasiado art-rock para Blitz y Chrome, y acabaron abandonando la banda. En el verano de 1975 conocieron a Stiv Bators
