Biografía:
Chopper fue una banda uruguaya de Heavy metal que surguió a principios de la década de los '90.
La historia del metal en Uruguay en bastante breve, pero no por esto Chopper deja de tener antecedentes. Durante la dictadura nació Acido, la primer banda uruguaya asociada al Heavy Metal, estaba influeenciada por Riff y con el Varo (Alvaro Coll) a la cabeza (el Varo fue luego conductor de la Radio X y ayudo a la difuusión de el rock. Marcelo, quien fuera el líder de Cross se hizo en ese ámbito.
