Biografía:
Chocolate Genius, é um grupo de músicos com Marc Anthony Thompson como líder e figura principal, da cidade de Nova York.
Thompson lançou dois álbums durante os anos 1980 sob seu próprio nome, e tem sido comparado com uma vasta variedade de músicos, incluindo Tom Waits, Prince, Jeff Buckley, D'Angelo, Lenny Kravitz, e Terence Trent D'Arby.
Ele assinou com a gravadora V2 Records for Black Music, seu primeiro álbum com o nome de Chocolate Genius foi lançado em 1998.
