Baby Goth was born Bria Bueno in Arlington, Texas. Her family moved around frequently throughout her childhood and she turned to writing songs as a stabilizing force in her often-ungrounded early life. She played in various bands growing up, singing in bluegrass acts and writing her own songs throughout high school.
