The Shirelles
Grupo vocal femenino de la América de 1960, y el primero en tener un único número uno en el Billboard Hot 100. Los miembros del cuarteto fueron Shirley Owens, Doris Coley, Beverly Lee, y Addie" Micki "Harris. Formado en Nueva Jersey en 1958, inició una cadena de éxitos incluyendo "Baby it's you" , "Mama Said", "Foolish Little Girl", y el nº 1 en los Pop Hits "Will You Love Me Tomorrow" y "Soldier Boy". Su "Sha La La" se convirtió en un éxito internacional versionándola el grupo británico Manfred Mann y dándoles un Top 5 hit en 1965.
