Edward Sharpe And The Magnetic Zeros

Perfect Time

by Edward Sharpe And The Magnetic Zeros
Edward Sharpe And The Magnetic Zeros

Biography:

Birthed by Mouth in the year two-thousand and five, young Edward Sharpe had to wait nearly two years before he was to grow his arms and legs and fingers and toes.
Immaculately conceived, his father (a Robot who had magically become a real boy…but that’s another story) declared his undying devotion to the creature. He perched the fleshy bust upon a teetering pedestal fashioned from stacked cereal boxes and positioned the display at his window for all the town to see. Young Edward soon proved no ordinary boy.

Hello guys.

This is my chord arrangement for Perfect Time by Edward Sharpe. It may seem quite complicated at first glance,
but most of the weird chords (Gmadd9/f# etc) are actually quite simple and come naturally when playing the
song.

WEIRD CHORDS USED:

The chorus chords are played like this: and in the outro (just 2 frets higher):
Gm Gmadd9/f# Bb/f Am Amadd9/g# C/g
--3--------5--------6----------------------------5--------7-------8-----------------------------------------|
--3--------3--------3----------------------------5--------5-------5-----------------------------------------|
--3--------3--------3----------------------------5--------5-------5-----------------------------------------|
--5--------4--------3----------------------------7--------6-------5-----------------------------------------|
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------|
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------|

I play the chorus like this (it's easier on guitar), but you can
use the "full" chords as well if you want to:
F Am/e Dm
--1----0-----1------------------------------|
--2----1-----3------------------------------|
--3----2-----2------------------------------|
--3----2-----0------------------------------|
--------------------------------------------|
--------------------------------------------|
