[Intro]
Bsus2 D E4

[Verse 1]
Bsus2 D E4
Came in from a rainy Thursday on the ave - nue,
Bsus2 D E4
Thought I heard you talking softly,
Bsus2 D E4
I turned on the lights, the tv, and the radi - o,
Bsus2 D E4
Still I can't escape the ghost of you,
Bsus2 F#m
What has happened to it all? 'Crazy!', some would say,
C# D Dsus2
Where is the life that I recog - nise? (Gone away!)

[Chorus]
A Em7
But I won't cry for yester - day,
Cadd9 G/B Dsus2
There's an ordinary world, somehow, I have to find,
A Em7 Cadd9
And as I try to make my way to the ordinary world,
G/B A#(#11)
I will learn to sur - vive!

[Verse 2]
Bsus2 E E4 E
| / / / / | / / / / |

Bsus2 D E4
Passion, or coincidence, once prompted you to say,
Bsus2 D E4
"Pride will tear us both apart!"
Bsus2
Well, now pride's gone out the window,
D E4
Cross the roof tops, runa - way,
Bsus2 D E4
Left me in the vacuum of my heart!
Bsus2 F#m
What is happening to me? 'Crazy!', some would say,
C# D Dsus2
Where is my friend when I need you most? (Gone away!)

[Chorus]
A Em7
But I won't cry for yester - day,
Cadd9 G/B Dsus2
There's an ordinary world, somehow, I have to find,
A Em7 Cadd9
And as I try to make my way to the ordinary world,
G/B Dsus2
I will learn to sur - vive!

[Break]
A Em7 Cadd9 G/B Dsus2
Oo, hoo - hoo! Ah, ah - ah!
A Em7 Cadd9 G/B A#(#11)
Just blow away------------! Oh---!

[Verse 3]
Bsus2 D E4
Papers, in the roadside, tell of suffering and greed,
Bsus2 D E4
Feared today, ..forgot tomorrow, oo - oo,
Bsus2 D E4
Here beside the news of holy war and holy need,
Bsus2 D Dsus2
Ours is just a little sorrowed talk!

[Chorus]
A Em7
(Just blowing a - way!) And I don't cry for yester - day,
Cadd9 G/B Dsus2
There's an ordinary world, somehow, I have to find,
A Em7 Cadd9
And as I try to make my way to the ordinary world,
G/B Dsus2
I will learn to sur - vive!

[Coda]
A Em7 Cadd9 G/B Dsus2
Every world----- is my world--------------------------,
(I will learn to sur - vive!)

A Em7 Cadd9 G/B Dsus2
Any world----- is my world--------------------------,
(I will learn to sur - vive!)

A Em7 Cadd9 G/B Dsus2
Any world----- is my world----------------,

A Em7 Cadd9 G/B Dsus2
Every world----- is my world----------------,

A Em7 Cadd9 G/B D Dsus2
Every world------! | / / / / | / / / / | / ||
