Capo 6th Fret

Verse 1:

Em7 C
Open my lungs
Em7 C
To breathe in forgiveness and love
Em7 C
Haunting me now G D
Reminders of how I used to be
Em7 C
On down the road Em7 C
The troubles sure to follow Em7 C
Looking out the window G D
Hell, if I know where I will go C D C D
So I'll just keep on driving

Chorus:
G D
On my way to LA Em7

Looking into the rear-view
C
As the roads fade away
G D
I swore off my past Em7
The first and last bad call C
That I ever made
G D
Tell me how to make right Em7
Every wrong turn that I've learned C
That this could all end tonight
G D
Tennessee Line C
Just changed my mind Em7 C
With this, my heart I'll follow this time

Verse 2:
Em7 C
Who would've known
Em7 C
The brightest is hard to swallow
Em7 C
As I rest on the shoulder of a road growing colder
G D
With the trouble I own C D C D
Should I just keep on driving?

Bridge:
D C

I know I must be doing something right
D C
Head the other way back to where I started out
D C
Ask myself if I can turn it all around tonight
Em7 D
And stop living with doubt, Yeah!
Chorus:
G D
On my way to LA Em7

Looking into the rear-view
C
As the roads fade away
G D
I swore off my past Em7
The first and last bad call C
That I ever made
