"Sundays"
from the album On the Strength of All Convinced

Standard Tuning.
this is a beautiful song, and the tabs up are
a bit confusing,
the best one was tuning down a half step
but this one is for just those who dont like down tuning
or who would prefer to use a capo.
this song can be played with or without a capo,
but if you prefer to use one, its a capo 2

here are the chords used in the song:

F#maj7 - 243322
G#m7 - 464444
Bmaj7 - x24342
C#7 - x46464
Ebm7 - x68676
that one doesnt need the 7th,
but i think it sounds good.

F#maj7 G#m7
Please, tell me how you lift these heavy bricks
Bmaj7 F#maj7

Bmaj7 F#maj7
But I know your skin is still as thin as mine.

What does it take to believe
C#7
In all the things you believe?

And maybe I need to listen more carefully.

F#maj7 G#m7 Bmaj7 F#maj7
I finally know how you stand against the worst there is.

Verse2

F#maj7 G#m7
You enjoy coffee and Debussy.
Bmaj7 F#maj7
I can't believe the calmness in your veins after everything.
F#maj7 G#m7
And when she dreams, she sees herself in her Sunday dress,
Bmaj7 F#maj7
Humming simple melodies, she's known since she was only three.

Prechorus

G#m7
What does it take to believe
C#7
In all the things you believe?
G#m7 C#7
And maybe I need to listen more carefully.

Chorus

F#maj7 G#m7 Bmaj7 F#maj7
I finally know how you stand against the worst there is.
F#maj7 G#m7 Bmaj7 F#maj7
I finally found the strength you've tried to tell me about.

Bridge/Interlude thing

Ebm7 G#m7
Oh, even when the sky is crashing down,

Oh, I want to feel the strength you know.

What does it take to believe
C#7
In all the things you believe?
G#m7 C#7
