Biography:
Creed se creó originalmente en Tallahassee, Florida en 1995 como Naked Toddler cuando Stapp y el guitarrista Mark Tremonti, que fueron amigos del bachilleres, se juntaron, y comenzaron a escribir canciones. Pronto agregaron al bajista Brian Marshall y al baterista Scott Phillips, y cambiaron el nombre a Creed por sugerencia de Marshall.
Encontraron trabajo en un bar de música en vivo, donde impresionaron al dueño Jeff Hanson lo suficiente para permitirles tocar en una de sus sitios más grandes.
