[Verse]

D
There’s a bottle… on the dresser by your ring
Bm Bm7 Bm Bm7
And it’s empty… so right now I don’t feel a thing
D Bm A G**
I’ll be hurtin’… when I wake up on the floor, and I’ll be over… it… by noon
D (Actual D chord) A D (progression) x2
That’s the difference, between whiskey and you

Come tomorrow… I can walk in any store
Bm Bm7 Bm Bm7
It ain’t a problem… they’ll always sell me more
D Bm A G**
But you’re forgiveness… that’s something I can’t buy, there ain’t a thing… that I… can do
D A D (Actual D Chord)
That’s the difference, between whiskey and you

[Chorus]

A G
One’s the devil… one keeps driving me insane
A G
At times I wonder… if they ain’t both the same
D (Progression) Bm A G**
But one’s a liar… that helps to hide me from my pain , and one’s a long… gone… bitter truth
D A D (progression) x2
That’s the difference, between whiskey and you

[Verse]

D
I’ve got a problem… but it ain’t like what you think
Bm Bm7 Bm Bm7
I drink because I’m lonesome… and I’m lonesome ‘cause I drink
D Bm A G**
If I don’t break down… and bring it on myself, it’ll hit… out of… the blue
D A D ( actual chord)
That’s the difference, between the whiskey and you

[Chorus]

A G
One’s the devil… one keeps driving me insane
A G
At times I wonder… if they ain’t both the same
D (Progression) Bm A G**
But one’s a liar… that helps to hide me from my pain , and one’s a long… gone… bitter truth
D A Bm A G (Strum G as tabbed above)
That’s the difference, between whiskey and you
D A D (progression)
Oh that’s the difference, between whiskey and you

All the transitions are kind of weird just listen to the song especially on the second line of each verse.
Once again all D's are the progression from the intro unless otherwise stated.

There is one fill that he does in avery verse right after the Bm A G. It's hard to tell exactly what he does
but I think it is this. Might need to play with it a little to sound right.
