Biography:
Justin Hurwitz (born January 22,1985 in Los Angeles County, California) is an Academy Award winning American composer and screenwriter, known for scoring the 2016 film La La Land. He also scored Damien Chazelle's three other features, First Man, Guy and Madeline on a Park Bench, and Whiplash. He won two Academy Awards for La La Land: Best Original Score and one for Best Original Song "City of Stars" out of his two nominated songs( the other being "Audition (The Fools Who Dream)".
