Samuel Cooke (born January 22, 1931 in Clarksdale, Mississippi; died December 11, 1964 in Los Angeles, California) was a popular and influential American gospel, R&B, soul and pop singer-songwriter recognized as one of the true founders of soul music. One of my favourite Sam Cooke songs. This is my interpretation of the song and I play it
with a similar strumming technique to that on Wonderful World, also by Sam Cooke.
I play it with the capo on the 3rd, but that's just because I like singing it at that pitch.
