Roo Panes

Indigo Home

by Roo Panes
Roo Panes

Biography:

Roo Panes is English singer-songwriter Andrew Panes from Wimborne, Dorset, United Kingdom.

Panes, who plays mandolin and guitar, is accompanied by Georgie Harris (Viola), Joanne Sy (Cello), Sean Hatton (Drums) and Deborah Panes (Vocals).

Panes is a British songwriter with a guitar to his chest and a heart swelling with hopes and dreams. A common on-paper pitch, perhaps, and one sold a thousand times before. But Dorset-born Panes has something special to offer those willing to wait a while for their favourite songs to settle into place.

[Intro]
F-Am-C-G

[Verse]
F Am
Dry eyes, roaring falls, god knows I've travelled far,
G C F
So far, but this is where it ends.
Am G
Found me, right about the time that I found? you, for once
C F
I was doing something right,
[F C G
Night fell, you asked,

[Chorus]
F C G Am
Are you lost in paradise my love or have you found a home,
F C G
It's an awfully lonely road to walk alone,
F C G D
And as I searched your flashing indigo eyes it echoed true, that
Am C G
I loved you...
Am C G
That I loved you...

[Verse]
F
Dawn woke, I knew that it was time
Am G C F
For my return, but this time it would likely hurt as hell.

Sometimes way across the ocean
Am G C F C G
On a far away shore we both stand and we both call, both call.

F C G
That if you give love and live love, then you'll never be alone.
F C G
If you give love and live love, then you'll always have a home
F C G
That if you give love and live love, then you'll never be alone.
F C G
If you give love and live love, then you'll always have a home

[Interlude]
F C G AM
F C G

[Chorus]
F C G Am
Are you lost in paradise my love or have you found a home,
F C G
It's an awfully lonely road to walk alone,
F C G D
And as I searched your flashing indigo eyes it echoed true, that
Am C G
I loved you...
Am C G
That I loved you...

[Bridge]
Am C G
We were lost in the fields trading tales of home,
Am C G
But everyone knew that your gaze was my home
Am C G
We were lost in the fields trading tales of home,
Am C G
But everyone knew that your gaze was my home
