Biography:

At least five artists share the name Rodriquez.

1) Sixto Diaz Rodriguez (also known as Rodriguez or as Jesus Rodriguez) is an American folk musician, born in Detroit, Michigan on July 10, 1942. He was named 'Sixto' (pronounced seex-toe) because he was the sixth child in his family. Rodriguez's parents were middle-class immigrants from Mexico, who left in the 1920s. Sixto Rodriguez - Crucify Your Mind

HEY THERE:
I play this song with CAPO ON THE SECOND FRET

G/C is a regular G + first fret of B-string
Emin/C is a regular Emin + first fret of B-string

D: I like to play the bassnote on the second fret of the E snare with this chord

Enjoy and groetjes uit Neerpelt!

G G/C G
Was it a huntsman or a player
G G/C G
That made you pay the cost
Emin Emin/C Emin
That now assumes relaxed positions
D G
And prostitutes your loss?

G G/C G
Were you tortured by your own thirst
G G/C G
In those pleasures that you seek
Emin Emin/C Emin
That made you Tom the curious
D G
That makes you James the weak?

D G
And you claim you got something going
D G
Something you call unique
C G
But I've seen your self-pity showing
D G
And the tears rolled down your cheeks.

(same chords progress through song)

Soon you know I'll leave you
And I'll never look behind
'Cos I was born for the purpose
That crucifies your mind.

So con, convince your mirror.
As you've always done before
Giving substance to shadows
Giving substance ever more.

And you assume you got something to offer
Secrets shiny and new
But how much of you is repetition
That you didn't whisper to him too.
