Pete Droge

Biography:

Pete Droge is an American adult alternative/folk rock musician.

His debut album Necktie Second, released by American records in 1994, featured the tongue-in-cheek "If You Don't Love Me (I'll Kill Myself)", (which also appeared on the soundtrack to the movie Dumb and Dumber), as well as the songs "Sunspot Stopwatch" and "So I am Over You."

Droge's next album, Find a Door, was released 2 years later in the summer of 1996 under the name of Pete Droge and The Sinners; his backing band included Dave Hull (bass)

A E D A E
A E D A E

A E D
I hurt you a lot you said that you love me
A E
as you packed your bags to go
A E D
Then your calling me phone to say that you miss me
A E
then why did you go away

D
Let go it or let it stay
E
I guess I know what you're saying
D
It gets so cold while you're away
E
That's why I hoped you be staying
D E A
But now you're leaving on a northernbound train

D E A
I know you're leaving on a northernbound train
D E A
This lonely feeling seemed to help me the same
D E A
Since you are leaving on a northernbound train
D E A
I guess I'm dreaming till I see you again
D E A
Or buy a ticket for myself upon a northernbound train

The further you run the less you will leave
When you come back home to stay
The deeper in love the harder the crying
When she is gone, away

Let go it or let it stay
I guess I know what your saying
It gets so cold while you're away
That's why I hoped you be staying
But now you're leaving on a northernbound train

I know you're leaving on a northernbound train
This lonely feeling seemed to help me the same
Since you are leaving on a northernbound train
I guess I'm dreaming till I see you again
Or buy a ticket for myself upon a northernbound train

On a northenbound train
