Ain t It Enough chords
Old Crow Medicine Show (Secor, Watson & White)

Capo II

D A G D Bm E A 2x

D A
Show me a river,
G D
I'll show you an ocean,
Bm
Show you a castle,
E A
Turned into sand
D A
For we rise and we fall,
G D
And we crash on the coastline,
Bm A G
But only our love will last till the end

D A
Fortune is fleeting
G D
Time is deceiving
Bm E A
Bodies are weak and they turn into dust
D A
All following blindly,
G D
But love is like lightning,
Bm
It strikes only one time
D G
And ain't it enough?

G D
Ain't it enough,
A G D
To live by the ways of the world
G D
To be part of the picture
G A
Whatever it's worth?
D A
Throw your arms around each other
G D
And love one another
Bm G A
For it's only one life that we've got
G D
And ain't it enough?

D A G D Bm E A

D A G D
Surely all people were made for each other
Bm E A
To join in together when the days turn to dusk
D A
So the let the prison walls crumble,
G D
And the borders all tumble
Bm
There's a place for us all here
D G
And ain't it enough?

G D
Ain't it enough,
A G D
To live by the ways of the world
G D
To be part of the picture
G A
Whatever it's worth?
D A
Throw your arms around each other
G D
And love one another
Bm G A
For it's only one life that we've got
G D
And ain't it enough?

A
Late in the evening,
G D
Feeling the wind blow,
A
Tall through to the tree tops,
G D
Warm in the sun,
Bm
Lying beside you,
A
Watching the moon rise,
G D
If that's all there is babe,
G A
Then ain't it enough?

D A G D Bm E A

D A
Show me a river,
G D
I'll show you an ocean,
Bm
With stars just like diamonds,
E A
All shining above
D A
Oh, where the heavens are beaming,
G D
And all the worlds dreaming,
Bm
For peace everlasting,
D G
And ain't it enough?

G D
Ain't it enough,
A G D
To live by the ways of the world
G D
To be part of the picture
G A
Whatever it's worth?
D A
Throw your arms around each other
G D
And love one another
Bm G A
For it's only one life that we've got
G D
And ain't it enough?

D A G D Bm E A

G D
Ain't it enough?
