Nirvana fue una célebre banda estadounidense de grunge, procedente de Aberdeen, Washington (no de Seattle, el mismo Kurt no aceptaba el termino grunge/seattle que era una fabricación y que la mayoría de los grupos pioneros no eran de ahí, comentando que ellos eran de Aberdeen).
