Twista a.k.a Tung Twista (nacido como Carl Terrell Mitchell el 27 de noviembre de 1973 en Chicago, Illinois), es un rapero americano conocido por la velocidad de su voz al rapear y que consiguió situar su álbum Kamikaze en el escalón más alto de la Billboard 200 en 2004, al igual que el single "Slow Jamz", junto a Kanye West y Jamie Foxx, que fue #1 en Billboard Hot 100.

Creció en el área de K-Town, al oeste de Chicago y comenzó a rapear a los 12 años.
