There Is So Much More - Tom Freund

This is Tom Freund's version of Brett Dennen's song "there is so much more".
It is alot like Bretts original version, only different picking and the guitar tuned a half step down.

The tuning makes the chords sound different, but i will tab them as if the guitar was in standard tuning

Intro

Asus2 C#m Asus2 C#m Asus2 E*

Verse 1
E* Asus2 E
When I heard the news, my heart fell on the floor
B C#m
I was on a plane, on my way to Baltimore
Asus2 E B E
and in these troubled times it’s hard enough as is
Asus2 E B
My soul has known a better life than this
Asus2 E
I wondered how so many could be in so much pain
B C#m
While others don’t seem to feel a thing
Asus2 E B E
And then I curse my whiteness and I get so damn depressed
Asus2 E B
In a world of suffering why should I be so blessed

Verse 2
Asus2 E
I heard about a woman, she lives in Colorado
B C#m
She built a monument of sorrow outside her garage door
Asus2 E B E
Where every day she prays for those whom are born
Asus2 E B
And all who's souls are passed on
Asus2 E
Sometimes my trouble gets so thick
B C#m
I can’t see how I’m ever gonna get through it
Asus2 E B E
But then I would rather be stuck up in a tree
B
Then be tied to it

Asus2 C#m
mmmmmmm
Asus2 C#m
yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah Iknow,
Asus2 C#m
I know Iknow
Asus2 E*
there is so much more

Verse
Asus2 E
I don’t feel comfortable with the way that my clothes fit
B C#m
I can’t get used to my body’s limits
Asus2 E B E
I got some fancy shoes to try to kick away these blues
Asus2 E B
And they cost a lot of money, but they don’t worth a thing
Asus2 E
I wanna free my feet from the broken glass and concrete
B C#m
Lord know I need to get out of this city
Asus2 E B E
Lay upon the ground stare a hole up in the sky
B
Wondering where I go when I die
Asus2
When I die

Asus2 C#m

Asus2 C#m
Yeah i know i know i know i know
Asus2 E*
say there is so much more
