The Queenstons

Our Special Place

by The Queenstons
The Queenstons

Biography:

Another extension of Renard

The Queenstons is an alias under the LapFox Trax label. They are a "duo" comprised of Renard and Jackal Queenston and they produce anthem style drum and bass with influences from liquid DnB and trancestep, many times much happier than the other drum and bass alias Jackal Queenston. The Queenstons is also one of the few aliases that has original vocals, sung by Ren themselves.

[Intro]
Eb F G x2

[Verse 1]
G
A man atop the roof, after climbing high
G
Looking back down at the vines that scaled as years passed by
G
A woman lights a fire from the bottom of the greens
G
The man begins to panic, and jumps while he screams

[Pre Chorus]
Eb F G
This place is nowhere after all
Eb F G
This place is nowhere after all

[Chorus]
Gm Eb
As I seep into the blackest void of all
Bb F F#dim
I'm nothing; I am no one
Gm Eb
As I sleep I hear them creeping down the hall
Bb F F#dim
They're nothing; they're all gone

[Post Chorus]
Bb Eb
But it's okay to be afraid
F
When you're staring face-to-face
F#dim D
with time that's gone to waste

[Verse 2]
G
A man walks on the clouds, after soaring high
G
Looking back down at the mountains reaching for the sky
G
A woman cries her eyes out just to fill the clouds with grey
G
As the man falls down to Earth, people swear they hear him say

[Pre Chorus]
Eb F G
This place is nowhere after all
Eb F G
This place is nowhere after all

[Chorus]
Gm Eb
As I seep into the blackest void of all
Bb F F#dim
I'm nothing; I am no one
Gm Eb
As I sleep I hear them creeping down the hall
Bb F F#dim
They're nothing; they're all gone

[Post Chorus 2]
Bb Eb
But it's okay to be afraid
F
When you're staring face-to-face
F#dim D
with time that's gone to waste
Bb Eb
And it's okay to hide away
F F#dim D
To overcome the fears that ruin all the days

[Chorus] x3
Gm Eb
As I seep into the blackest void of all
Bb F F#dim
I'm nothing; I am no one
Gm Eb
As I sleep I hear them creeping down the hall
Bb F F#dim
They're nothing; they're all gone
