Scott H. Biram

Broke Ass

by Scott H. Biram
Scott H. Biram

Biography:

Scott H. Biram (aka The Dirty Old One Man Band), born April 4, 1974, in Lockhart, TX, is an American blues, punk, country, heavy metal musician, and record producer. He is primarily known as one of the prominent musicians of the One Man Band musical genre.

Rock 'n' Roll ain't pretty and neither is Scott H. Biram. The self proclaimed "Dirty Old One Man Band" successfully, and sometimes violently, lashes together blues, hillbilly and country precariously to raucous punk and godless metal.

[Verse 1]
C G
Well I've been living out the back of a beat up ol' 'seventy-two ford
Am F
And I've been spending all my money on some worn out two dollar whore
C G
'nd you might think it's funny but I don't think its fair
Am F
That that ol' two timing headache could ever get herself anywhere

[Chorus]
C G
Well get on up, come on down
Am F
See the nicest piece o' real estate to ever grace this town
C G
Yeah she's my woman, you can see her every night
Am F
Just dancing, looking wicked till the early morning light
C G
Yeah she's my babe, she's my broken piece of ass
Am F C
She's my number one undercover lover but she been running way too fast for way too long
G C F C
Come on down, take a good look at my bad dream

[Verse 2]
C G
Well I like making money, honey but I sure don't like to work
Am F
When I could be down here just sinnin' wiping beer stains on my shirt
C G
And if you see ol' Ben Franklin won'tcha send his love my way
Am F
I ain't seen him in a month or two since my paycheck up and walked away
C G
And over in the land of the good looking they're still reeling in the years
Am F
And we're just over here standing looking crooked just bleeding in our tears
C G C F C
So get on up come on down take a good long look at my bad dream

[Verse 3]
C G
Well its hard to take a handout from a friend looks just like me
Am F
'cept his legs have both been broken and his eyes can barely see
C G
And somewhere way up on the high road where there's nothing in the way
Am F
You can't do nothing but piss off the concrete on the ones that showed you the way
C G C F C
But that's alright, it's just another broken piece of my bad dream

[Verse 4]
C G
Well I guess I'll see you friend somewhere closer to the truth
Am F
When the bars are closin' down tonight when my words just ain't no use
C G
Guess I'm just talking to a stranger, guess I'm just pissin' in the wind
Am F
Guess I'm just lonely, 'n' crippled, 'n' angry 'till I get on my feet again

[Chorus]
C G
Well get on up come on down
Am F
To the nicest piece of real estate to ever grace this town
C G
'cause she's my woman, yeah you can see her every night
Am F
Just dancing, lookin' wicked till the early morning light
C G
Yeah she's my babe, she's my broken piece o' ass
Am F C
She's my number one undercover lover but she been running way too fast for way too long
