Saliva es una Banda de Nu Metal formada en Memphis, Tennessee (EEUU) en septiembre de 1996. Después de compertir en la muestra de la Academy of Recording Arts & Sciences Grammy y conseguir llegar hasta la ronda final en la ciudad de Nueva York la banda decidio intentar publicar su albúm debut que tuvo gran acepetación llegando a vender más de 10.000 copias lo que llamo la atención de la discografica Island Records.
