Just shining pieces of a dream

And still might yet come true

And when I look through your eyes

G Bm A

And see again each day as new

I can see my soul reborn

G Bm A

And what I know, I never knew

Welcome to the world

Who could be me or you

Try to do

Jam

G Bm A

How can I say these things to you?

G Bm

What more really need be said?

A

How can I make it new enough

G

True enough

Bm

Shine it through enough

A

To turn your head

G Bm A

Welcome to the world

G Bm A

It's not all I'd have given you

G Bm

Just shining pieces of a dream

A

That almost could've been

G Bm

Isn't what it seems

A

And still might yet come true

G F#M D A

But take a walk with me

G F#M D A

Come on and walk down Rain Street

G F#M D A

Come on and talk with me

G F#M D A

We could stay inside this starry night

G Bm

But tomorrow's coming soon

A G Bm

Should I hold, should I hold you till the morning light?

A

Or just go howling at the moon?

G Bm

Howling at the moon

And after all, the point is trying

Some will win and some will lose

Better to die living than live dying

Somebody else will start anew

Just as you have shown me to
