Cuando Blink 182 termino, dos de sus integrantes: Mark Hoppus y Travis Barker decidieorn formar una banda (Plus44) una amiga de Travis, Carol Heller, les ayudaria con la guitarra y tambien cantaria junto con Mark. Poco despues invitaron a Shane ( un viejo amigo de Travis), el cual se integro a la banda y despues de este vino Craig, otro guitarrista tambien amigo de Travis. mientras tanto Carol se retiro de la banda porque quería crear una familia.
