MICHAEL KISKE – Photograph
from the Place Vendome (2005) record
by Eddie ([email protected])

Note: This is actually not a Kiske song but a song from a band named Place Vendome,
Michael did all the singing and since they released only one record, which is (against all
hardly known, it is better to file this one under the Michael Kiske folder. Great
how to make a great song with four chords and a little singing skills.

F#m
I found a way
E D
To keep a lot of pretty features all the same
F#m
Here at my side

You keep me warm with inspirations I can’t hide

I can pretend

Seal it off in a letter - with your

A E F#m
D
I need more than a memory, and your photograph

Verse 3:
We both depend
Upon the one to understand and comprehend
And though I’ve tried
I’ve got to leave with just an ounce left of my pride

Pre-chorus 3:
Yeah, you ought to know
That I’m only human and only you can deny that I
Needed more than a reason – And your

Chorus 2:
Smiling eyes here on a photograph, yes all that I have is your
Smiling eyes here on a photograph, and they’re telling me lies – oh I
Might be a sinner, might be no saint
But the winds of change have delivered me to my fate
A E D
I need more than a memory, and your photograph.....

Bridge:
F#m E D F#m E
Your photograph...
D F#m
I’ve tried to make it, I’ve tried to fight
A E
But the things that you do, well it’s just not right
D F#m A E
If I could turn back the hands of time would it matter? No…

Chorus 3:
Smiling eyes here on a photograph
Smiling eyes here on a photograph
Smiling eyes here on a photograph, yes all that I have is your
Smiling eyes here on a photograph, and they’re telling me lies – oh I
Might be a sinner, might be no saint
But the winds of change have delivered me to my fate
I need more than a memory
