by The Judds
The Judds

Biography:

Naomi Judd was born Diana Ellen Judd on Jan. 11, 1946, in Ashland, Ky. Finding herself pregnant, she quickly got married but not to the father of her first child, daughter Christina Ciminella. Christina, born May 30, 1964, became known as Wynonna Judd when the mother-daughter duo stormed the country charts in the 1980s.
After Naomi divorced, she moved from their latest home in Hollywood, back to Morrill, Ky., with Wynonna and another daughter Ashley.

Four years of hard work!

This month of May we celebrated four years on the air. We continue working on the dissemination of this wonderful instrument, thank you for participating in our story!

Here is my version of Come Some Rainy Day. It's hard to get the timing
right when typing out chords. As you listen to the CD you'll hear when the
changes come. :-) I'm pretty sure Wynonna sings this in G# so you could
use a capo on the first fret of your guitar. I play piano and am looking
forward to getting an electric keyboard I can change the pitch on!! One
more thing... on the chords that look like D/F# play D with an F# in the bass.

Come Some Rainy Day - Wynona Judd

G D C
What good's a dollar without your baby sister
G D C
Two scoops of ice cream on a summer afternoon
G D C
We ran wild and all we ever wanted
G C D
was to rule the world Between our house and school

G D/F# C/E G/D C G/B
We move on put those dreams away
C D G D C C G D C D
Thinking that we'll find them come some rainy day

G D C
First time I saw you I knew I would love you
G D C
Half way through sophomore year I finally asked your name
G D C
When I kissed you I lost my heart completely
G C D
And all we wanted was just to stay that way

G D/F# C/E G/D C G/B
But we move on put those dreams away
C D
Hoping that we'll find them come some rainy day
G D C G/B
How could I know that everything would change
C D G D C
Except the way I miss you come some rainy day

Bb F/A C/E Dm
I sit and laugh with friends at what we've all been through
