Biography:

The Doobie Brothers are an American rock group, best known for hit singles like Black Water, China Grove, Listen to the Music, Long Train Runnin', and What a Fool Believes. They have sold over 40 million albums worldwide. The Doobie Brothers were inducted into The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2020.

In 1969, singer, guitarist and songwriter Tom Johnston and drummer John Hartman formed the nucleus of what would become The Doobie Brothers. Skip Spence

OK. Here are the real chords to Listen to the Music by the Doobie Brothers. First of
all, the intro is E. Not the open chord, but the barre type chord. Now its NOT the open
chord. Its the E barre Chord. You know how you put your fingers over the seventh and
ninths frets, well, just put a finger over the ninth fret to give you that E sound,
and hammer onto the 5th string, 11th fret. Simple. Then its just a simple chord under
it, (This is an A) in the form of a standard barre chord, except remove your pinky
finger. ( this chord is an A)!


- NOTE PLay the song in barre chords and remember to hammer on for the E type of chord!
