[G] ~ A[G]re you lonesome tonight? Do you mi[C]ss me I s[G]ay?
Are you sorry we drifted a[D]part?
Do your mem[G]moires cling to tha[C]t bright summer day,
when I k[D]issed you and called you swee[G]theart?

Like the rose o[C]n the vine I am cl[G]inging to you,
as I did when we drifted [D]apart.
I am wishin[G]g you back to tha[C]t little Ol'shack,
where I k[D]issed you and called you swee[G]theart.

[G] [C] [G] [D] [G] [C] [D] [G]

Does the chair in yo[G]ur parlor seem e[C]mpty and [G]bare?
Do you miss me and wish I was there?[D]
Is your heart f[G]illed with pain? Sh[C]all I come back again?
Tell me, darling[D], are you lonesome to[G]night?

I have counted the [G]days, I've coun[C]ted the [G]nights
I've counted the months and the years[D]
I have counted [G]on you sin[C]ce we drifted apart
Tell me, darling[D], are you lonesome to[G]night?

[G] [C] [G] [D] [G] [C] [D] [G]

[G] ~ A[G]re you lonesome tonight? Do you mi[C]ss me I s[G]ay?
Are you sorry we drifted a[D]part?
Do your mem[G]moires cling to tha[C]t bright summer day,
when I k[D]issed you and called you swee[G]theart?
