Dong Young-bae (Hangul: ?, Hanja: ?), más conocido como Taeyang o SOL, es un cantante nacido en Seúl, Corea del Sur. Nació el 18 de Mayo de 1988. Trabaja bajo el sello discográfico YG Entertainment. Actualmente pertenece a la banda surcoreana Big Bang.
El estilo musical de Taeyang se centra principalmente en el R&B. Sus canciones son básicamente slow jams aunque algunas también presentan toques de hip-hop y pop. Young-bae canta principalmente en coreano, aunque también lo hace en japonés e inglés.
