INTRO: Em D A Em

#1.
A
Well, I picked up the phone to give you

a call.

Let it ring but no one answered at all.
D
I guess you were out with someone new.
A
Did you forget I had a date with you?
E D A
Uh-huh-huh, oh, yeah, I'd be ashamed.

#2.
A Am
You're a little heartbreaker and you seem
A
proud of it.
A Am
Breaking hearts right and left and you seem to
A
just love it.
D
Now, don't you know it's not the thing to do?
A
Don't you know it might happen to you?
E D A
Uh-huh-huh, oh, yeah, I'd be ashamed.

CHORUS:
D
Well, I'd be ashamed for making me cry.
A
I'd be ashamed for telling those lies.
D
But don't you know two can play that game?
E D A
Uh-huh-huh, oh, yeah, I'd be ashamed.

#3.
A
You don't love me at all, you don't care if

you show it.
A
But I'm so much in love I don't care who

knows it.
D
You don't love me and that's plain to see..
A
you're just a making a fool of me.
E D A
Uh-huh-huh, oh, yeah, I'd be ashamed.

INTERLUDE: Em D A Em

#4.
A
Someday true love may come your way.
A
But by then it might be a little too late.
D
But they might leave you by yourself..
A
they might leave you settin' on the shelf.
E D A
Uh-huh-huh, oh, yeah, I'd be ashamed.

CHORUS:
D
Well, I'd be ashamed for making me cry.
A
I'd be ashamed for telling those lies.
D
But don't you know two can play that game?
E D A
Uh-huh-huh, oh, yeah, I'd be ashamed.

OUTRO:
E D A D A
Uh-huh-huh, oh, yeah, I'd be ashamed.
