intro
F C Bb

F Bb
Its all I can do to walk out of here alive

F C
After all the hell that Ive been through

F Bb
So Im getting out of this town for awhile

F
Spend the rest of my nights and days

C Bb
Wishing I was back here with you

F Bb
And you cant see it all washing away

F C
Its over right before the start

F Bb
After I said all I wanted to say

F
I went through all the pieces

C Bb
Trying not to tear it apart

F C Bb
And Im a stranger now

F C Bb
Aint no one else around

F C Bb
Cant forget about the sound

Gm
Of your alibi

Bb F C Bb
I know youve been here before

We already gave the world to you man

How can you make us beg on our knees

For you might be the end of us all

Ive loved so many people that up and said goodbye

And Im a stranger now

Aint no one else around

Cant forget about the sound

Of your alibi

And I know youve been here before

You can cut me once and then Id bleed all night

Still might make it back home alive

You can spread my name all over this town

Cause all these holy angels coming around back for more

And Im a stranger now

Aint no one else around

Cant forget about the sound

Of your alibi

And I know youve been here before
