[Verse]
G D
I think about you every single day
Em
and every time I see your face
C
I wake and it bring me to tears
G
We haven't spoken in years

D
We were close when we were young and naive
Em
We grew up and we learned other things

You'll always be sweet sixteen

[Chorus]
G
And you will always be perfect

You'll always be beautiful
D
Our hearts will never forget you
Em
You didn't belong here and it's become so clear
C
Why heaven called your name

[Verse]
G D
I miss you and it still feels like I know you
Em
I've got pictures of us side by side to show you
C
But it feels like I owe you so much more

[Chorus]
G
And you will always be perfect you'll always be beautiful
D
Our hearts will never forget you
Em
You didn't belong here and it's become so clear
C
Why heaven called your name

G
And it just doesn't seem right
D Em
Was it really your time, are we dreaming
C
We'll never let go of you
G D
Wish you were here and it's becoming clear
Em C
That earth's just not the place for an angel like you

G D Em
For an angel like you
C
woah oh oh

(palm mute)

[Bridge]
G
You meant so much to so many i'm not quite sure
D Em
How to do justice to you if they're ready to say goodbye
C
I know i'm not

G D
You made the news and the papers for days and days

But it hardly seems fair
Em
The whole world should know your name
C
I want them to know your name

(strumming)

G D Em C

[Outro]
G D
And now we must let you move forward
Em
Our love lies with you
C
Our souls fly with you
Amelia
