No Victims – Kirsty Maccoll

C G F C G F
I must have been driving all day But I'm getting no further away
D
All these towns look the same in the night
G
And the rain is falling in my eyes
C G F C G F
Take me away See all my friends for a day
D G
It's strange but it's true I'm no longer hurting without you

C Em Am Dm G
I'm no victim to pity and cry for
C Em Am Dm G
And you're not somoeone I'd lay down and die for

C G F
I was seeing the world through your eyes
C G F
There was not much left not to despise
D G
It's a shame but it's true. I started to feel things like you do

C Em Am Dm G
But I'm not tearing my heart out for you dear
C Em Am D G
And when you wake up I won't even be here
Am D
Sod all your funny little ways
Am D G C Dm G
They don't make me laugh these days any more

C Em Am Dm G
I'm no victim to pity and cry for
C Em Am Dm G
Or some sad lonely encounter the night before
C Em Am Dm G
No I'm not tearing my heart out for you dear
C Em Am Dm G
And when you wake up I'll be miles away from here
C G - C Em Am Dm G (x3)
Baby I know
