Keston Cobblers Club

For Words

by Keston Cobblers Club
Keston Cobblers Club

Biography:

Based on folklore but filled to the brim with a modern kick, Keston Cobblers' Club's music is catchy, contemporary pop folk.

Siblings Matthew and Julia have gathered with school friends Tom, Harry and Bethan to revive the legacy of the old struggling Cobbler of Keston and his foot-stamping, shoe-scuffing music club. With beautiful harmonies, an oom-pah tuba line and a mish-mash of other instruments, the Cobblers give you music to tap along to!

Chords relative to capo

In the last chorus, at the end of each line, after the C,there is a little walk down to the Am
which sounds good. Go from a C chord to a chord with one finger on the first fret of the B
string and one finger on the second fret of the A string, then play the Am chord.

When there is a G*, play just the low E string of the G chord once (on the third fret relative to the capo)then play the fifth and seventh fret of the same string once each before moving on to the next chord.
