I couldn't find any chords for this great song, so I listened to it and did it
myself. I'm pretty sure most of it is right, so enjoy!

D A Em G x2

D A Em
Well if I knew then what I know now,
G
Things would be different
D A Em
What can I say? It happens like this
G
Most of the time for me
D A Em
If I could be sure things would go well
G
Just like the people in movies,
D A Em
Well, I would go home, and I would wash up
G
And I would come over to your house.

Chorus:
Em A G
But most of the time, I'm walking with cement shoes
Bm Em
Dragging my troubles behind
A G Bm Em
And most of the time, you're walking too close to me, yeah
A G Bm
And most of the time, I'm counting the rest of this year
Em G D
There's nowhere to go, so why can't I get there from here?

D A Em G x2

D A Em
There's nothing to say, there's nothing to win,
G
It's just the way it is.
D A Em
I'd like to be brave, I'd like to make up,
G
I just can't do it again.
D A Em
If I could be sure that we would have trust,
G
Just like two people in Kansas
D A Em
Then I would go home, and I would wash up
G
And I would come over to your house.

Chorus:
Em A G
But most of the time, I'm walking with cement shoes
Bm Em
Dragging my troubles behind
A G Bm Em
And most of the time, you're walking right next to me, yeah
A G Bm

There's nowhere to go, so why can't I get there from here?
