Here is some background information on Jason Jones from the Ferris Wheel Songfacts. Florida native Jason Jones was introduced to Country music while driving between Florida and Georgia. After dropping out of Florida State University, he moved to Nashville and joined a band, which performed at the Wildhorse Saloon, and signed to a songwriting contract with Warner/Chappell. His debut single, Ferris Wheel, was included on a six-song digital extended play and released on May 31, 2011.
