Biography:
Holden es un dúo francés formado por el guitarrista Dominique Dépret (conocido bajo el seudónimo de Mocke) y Armelle Pioline (como referencia a Holden Caulfield). En 1997 vuelven de Dublin donde residieron por 4 años y registran sus primeros demos tras encontrar al baterista Pierre-Jean Grapin, a Evan Evans (clavier) y al bajista Richard Cousin. Juntos graban el disco L'Arrière-Monde en 1998 bajo el sello independiente Lithium . Un tercio de los textos es en inglés, mientras que el resto del disco viene en francés.
