by Beans on Toast
Beans on Toast

Biography:

Beans On Toast (aka Jay MacCallister) is a British folk singer from Essex, UK, who rose to out of the UK folk scene in 2005. He is well known for his self-deprecating and honest songwriting, which openly deals with the topics of politics, drugs and love. He has six studios albums and has traditionally released a new record each year on his birthday, 1 December.

Jay claims the songs he writes 'have the same chords' and 'sound like Billy Bragg'. His close friend Frank Turner mentions Jay in many of his songs: I Knew Prufock Before He Got Famous
