30 Odd Foot of Grunts

Sail Those Same Oceans

by 30 Odd Foot of Grunts
30 Odd Foot of Grunts

Biography:

30 Odd Foot Of Grunts was actor Russell Crowe's musical band before he began a solo career in 2005. The name of the band comes from a phrase heard by Russell Crowe during post-production on the movie Virtuosity. Apparently, some dubbing was required for a fight scene; since time is sometimes measured by length of film in the movie industry, Crowe was asked to provide the eponymous "30-odd foot of grunt". Another published story (Melbourne Herald Sun) of the name's origin

Verse 2:

So when I tilt my hat, to the breeze of the evening.

Succumb to the flowers, who say they'll marry me.

So there's no more changes. No more, tales of the sea.

You got to get out, well I understand.

Falling apart, wasn't part of the plan.

Not 100% on the lyrics, but the chords seem to feel right. One note, if
you play this solo on acoustic, you might want to add a D9 towards the
end of the D to G chord change to fill it in a bit, up to you. Enjoy!
