E A

E A
Sometimes you could hear a pin drop, or the ticking of the clock
E
Between the surface conversation, no matter what they were saying
A
They never talked, hum
E A
Sometimes I would hear them screaming, when they though that I was sleeping,
E A
They just fight about whatever, I don’t know if they ever had a reason

C#m B A
Am I the product of a problem that I couldn't change?
C#m B A
Got his eyes, got her hair, so do I get their mistakes?

E A
I know that you can walk across a bridge that’s already burn, so what am I supposed to do?
C#m B A
I can’t help that they chose to breathe it in, but I don’t wanna choke
E
On that Secondhand Smoke

E A
Sometimes I hear myself saying hand me down words
E A
It’s so easy to forget that he ain’t him and I ain’t her,

C#m B A
And when I think fighting has to end in a goodbye
C#m B A
I wanna prove me wrong, but I’m scared of prove me right, ’cause

E A
I know that you can walk across a bridge that’s already burn, so what am I supposed to do?
C#m B A
I can’t help that they chose to breathe it in, but I don’t wanna choke
E
On that Secondhand Smoke

A
Oh no
C#m B A
Will I be better? Find forever? Be the one to shake the habit?
C#m B A
Breakaway from broken things and rise above the ashes?

E A
I know that you can walk across a bridge that’s already burn, so what am I supposed to do?
C#m B A
I can’t help that they chose to breathe it in, but I don’t wanna choke, no I ain’t gonna choke
E A E
On that Secondhand Smoke
